Meat has no flavor. There, I said it.

The only way to make meat palatable is to slather it with so much seasoning, spice, sauce, oil, and butter that you can't even taste it anymore. Ever just take a raw piece of uncooked meat and bite into it? Of course not, nobody in their right fucking mind would. Yet... fruits, nuts, and vegetables taste delicious when entirely raw and unseasoned.

So why the fuck do so many people eat meat? It's expensive, unhealthy, difficult to prepare, and as we just discussed: flavorless.

eggplant are not good raw. and in general lot of vegetables are better consumed cooked eg carrots' betacarotene become bioavailable after cooking them, the same for lycopene in red tomatos despite what you raw faggot actually believe.

meat has flavor, it come almost exclusively from the maillard's reaction of sugars, but is there. meat is also a convenient source of proteins that are not naturally synthesized by you and iirc there are not substitute for them except maybe for soy. This is if you eat exclusively the muscles like the majority of people do, if you consider the other part of the animal (heart, liver, tripe) they are an amazing source for micronutrients such as iron.
You must consume raw vegetables and fruits for their content of fibers and some vitamins denature from cooking

For the meat flavor I don't know what to say, maybe it's a cultural thing, I only put a little much of oil that even the heat surface and salt and I think is delicious.

It has a flavor but the people who eat meat without smoking it or adding any other ingredients or sauces because they want the "true taste of the meat" are full of shit.

The magic of meat comes from the fact that it join with sauce in a way that no vegetable can, to create something more flavorful than the individual sum of it's parts. Even sudacafags who say they put nothing on their steak (because they are poor) still add salt to it.

It's like crack cocaine. Once you get hooked, you just keep eating it until you are dead.

100% of meat eaters all end up dead. Mostly from cancer.

even if that argument held water, you're ignoring the fact that the most appetising thing about meat is its texture. The blandest meat I've ever tasted was farmed turkey breast, but even that cooked right has a wonderful texture.
even if you wanna convince yourself its not tasty, you have to admit that meat FEELS good.
