A whole stick of butter is only 850 calories at most, depending on the brand.

I truly doubt most people are adding over 1 whole stick of butter to their popcorn. I'd say at most, even the fattest people, are only adding a max of 1/2 stick for a ginormous bag/bowl of popcorn. Because have you seriously ever see a whole stick of butter melted down and poured over popcorn? It would literally be popcorn butter cereal there would be so much butter.

You're blowing this shit out of proportion here mango. Even the pre-buttered popcorn bags are only up to about 3-400 calories per bag; and a whole bag of popcorn is a lot of popcorn for 1 person.
