Anyone else hate using the kitchen with other people?

Have a shared kitchen in my dorm and I listen at the door before I walk in, and will walk out if someone else is in there

I love coming with my roommate. I usually really the lead role, and he'll clean up while we're cooking / do other work as needed. It makes me feel like a chef.

Afraid they might diss your cooking skills or palate?

I'm thinking about kicking out my roommate because he is always in the kitchen when I am trying to cook. I don't really need him around, I own the house, I figured it would be nice to rent out a room to offset my mortgage but it isn't worth it if I've always got to deal with him buzzing around in my goddamn kitchen.

Stop being so autistic!
(Drunken) Dorm "cooking" with random people is the best social activity you can do.

yeah I bet you do gaylord

I live with family and like being in the kitchen alone. The worst parts are people randomly stirring things I'm cooking, talking to me when I'm focused on timing and the task at hand, and restricting my fucking walking speed by milling around like cattle.

Every single part of this post could be a gay innuendo except for "it makes me feel like a chef."

Anyone else think that rice in that soup is a bad idea? Wouldn't using dried rice noodles be a lot better?

Man I had to share a kitchen and it sucked. I bought 2 8 dollar hot pots-couldnt have a hot plate but would overlook hotspots cuz much instant coffee and you can do alot with them. I for cooking meat in and the other for water, potatoes, rice you get it. You can steam with them too. Heat sauces.

If I'm cooking I usually kick out everyone unless they are able to at least do basic shit and stay out of my way

For sure. He's not too bad, but purty autistic. Tends to hover and decide to do dishes right when I'm cooking, in our tiny dorm kitchen. Can't wait to leave this place behind.

>>10586105
Maybe? It's just for consistency and filler I guess.

Yes. I hate cooking my food while roommates are cooking. I'm also antisocial
