I got you, weirdo.

Shred carrot, onion, red cabbage, regular cabbage, (optional: green apple)
Combine in large bowl.
Dressing :
1 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of dijon mustard
salt and pepper to taste

I like adding dried cherries and toasted almonds and shit but you do what you like to your slaw, OP.

Make it several hours ahead so it's good and cold.

My favorite slaw is from savoy cabbage. They sell it in bags as "angel" slaw mix. Put in large bowl, and in separate bowl combine dressing mix in this order: minced green onion or sweet onion very finely minced, add apple cider vinegar to cover with 1/2 teaspoon of demerara sugar. Stir to combine and soften and leave 5 minutes. Add mayo, salt, pepper and stir into mixture. A splash of cream is a secret ingredient some use. Fold into cole slaw to combine (it will appear a bit dry). Refrigerate and stir again in the next couple of hours as it breaks down. This basic salad can be enhanced by celery seed OR can be spiced with jalapeno, lime zest, jalapeno OR can go sweeter (don't do it!), or can get other mix-ins like nuts, cranberries, kale, red cabbage, carrots. It's best to halve your recipe and make two salads though if you'll be messing too much from the normal slaw or you offend people.
