In all seriousness, those things don't work with chambered home wastewater treatment systems that people have who live outside of municipal water treatment systems. I built my own house snd was warned by my plumber sub not to install one but my neighbors who had builders ended up removing them in a year because their treatment plant went septic. Anyone not composting scrap for the garden probably lives in a garbage ridden beehive anyway.

A garbage disposal is literally meant to catch the larger scraps that the sink drain strainer clogs with ...just so you don't have to upend and wipe out the strainer over the drain. It keeps the fingers clean. You pulverize the remaining bits and if small enough, they will wash done the pipes, and if not small enough yet, they stay in the disposal until ground small enough to go down a skinny crack.

Well, bars and most Americans will be using shelf stable salad dressing. If you understand the difference from homemade or refrigerated blue cheese dressing and the bottled pasteurized stuff, ugh, it's bad, and for ranch it's worse when not fresh.

Ranch dressing had a forerunner called Green Goddess dressing which was pureed green herbs and buttermilk, with a bit of anchovy for savoriness and a touch of fresh lemon. Ranch was like the dried herb rather than fresh herb version of that. Sold in packets, the powdered herbs could be added to buttermilk, and then to sell more packets, they eventually said you didn't need to buy buttermilk, something most people don't keep on hand, and you could use milk with about 50% mayo instead, which adds the tang from vinegar.

Moral of the story? Restaurants are rarely making fresh dressings from scratch anymore, to reduce health violations in turnover and storage techniques that lead to illness and cost increases mostly. Fresh ranch is amazing! Green Goddess is even better!! Homemade blue cheese dressing is TDF as well. One of my favorite restaurants is a mom n pop italian near me that makes fresh eggy-mustard dressing with raw eggs. It won't last. Wait til someone gets sick. They'll get closed down.
