Its only real use is superbowl party type dips in large quantities.

Wow contains a whopping 2% milk! Looks like amerilards have upped their standards for cheese style products and include a little bit of milk.

>> No.10460040

>>10460032
2% refers to the fat percentage, not the amount of milk in the recipe. It's lower fat than using "whole milk", which is usually around 3-4% milkfat.

Yes, it's a garbage product. But if you're going to make fun of Americans at least know what you're talking about.

if i'm gonna have white trash mac and cheese, i'm gonna use this.

the powder mixed with butter and milk tastes way better than velveeta.

Came in here to post this. I think it's fine when made with chorizo and rotel.

It's government cheese, slightly different.

>> No.10460263

>>10460251
Nope. Velveeta is a cheese product designed to melt easily for dips and sauces and stuff. It's not actual cheese.
Also, the 2% refers to the fat content of the milk used to make it, not the amount of milk in the product.

I've used it in the past for Mac n cheese when I lived in a shitty area that didn't have good stores. It worked alright and the nogs liked my man cheese and chicken and didn't rob me for being a white nog

I should have expected no less, considering most Yurropores can't even afford dairy products that aren't sucked straight from a goat's tit.

It's literally cheese, but it falls in the same logic as Daiya. You can't call it cheese because it isn't fully made with milk.

I'm a 33 year old American and don't think I've ever had velveeta (I probably have without knowing), or know anyone who buys it. It always looked really good in the commercials where they microwave it with a can of rotel to make flyover queso, but I'm sure I'd be disappointed if I ever tried it.

Its fine, and not significantly worse than actual queso made with a block of cheese and evaporated milk. Protip; if you've had queso in a restaurant you've had the bulk economy restaurant grade version of velveeta.

>something I've never had

I've had melted cheese product on nachos at the movies or at Taco Bell, and I've tried all sorts of canned sauces and chilis, and soups or whatever. It's not much of a stretch to imagine how boring velveeta queso most likely is.

>> No.10462388

>>10462370

It looks a lot worse outside of the commercials, even when it's a corporate video.
