Baking is on a timer. "Quality Check" is the undefinable period between when the computer thinks it should be out of the oven and when the driver clocks it out of the system. This can consist of cutting, sauce gathering, waiting for other items to finish, packaging, finding where the next driver in line is hiding, etc.

This entire thing is bullshit, the only thing it tracks is when your driver leaves, which they could also fake if they want.

As if someone would trust minimum wage workers with hitting 2 more buttons on a tablet. I suppose the driver needs to push at least one button to tell the system to track him. Or better yet his smartphone/device realizes he's moving away from the kitchen and updates the status itself.

The "quality check" is supposed to consist of trivial shit such as checking the roundness of the pizza or making sure the cheese is properly spread. In actuality it's closer to "yep, that's a pizza." Also, >>10416240 has the idea down pretty well.

I'm not the guy you replied to, but did work as a Domino's delivery driver for a while. General order fuck ups go unnoticed about 60% of the time. These include putting garlic oil on a pizza that requests it be omitted, forgetting one topping on a pizza that has 12 others, or just not bringing the bottles of soda. A lot of the time it's because the person answering the door isn't the one that made the order.
