How do I know if my Matcha is good? I have this shit (pic related) I got at the Japanese market for $5. My coworker was drinking some matcha at work and she had this kind:

https://www.amazon.com/Tealyra-Matcha-Japanese-Bamboo-Holder/dp/B0159JZLVE/ref=pd_sim_325_6?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0159JZLVE&pd_rd_r=V6DD2296G39N4HD4C1A6&pd_rd_w=PW0O2&pd_rd_wg=DxNvN&psc=1&refRID=V6DD2296G39N4HD4C1A6

it's 10grams less for 20 bucks more. And it's Ceremonial Grade which sounds like some marketing bs. Why is the macha on amazon more expensive (besides the certifications which cost money)

There's baking matcha (the $5 crap you bought), and then there's drinking matcha: http://www.yuuki-cha.com/organic-green-tea/matcha Good, drinking matcha is not dirt cheap.

Only the absolute most expensive ones, the $14.24 USD one is still better than most of the stuff you'll find in a grocery store or Amazon. The best place to buy tea is from online vendors that list origin and harvest dates for all of their tea, so you know that it's fresh.

did you choose not to investigate this yourself before posting, or did you google it, find out that it's not marketing bs, and post this anyways because you felt retarded?
