two 24oz cans of pealed san marzano tomatoes
4 cloves of garlic(chopped finely or crushed)
1 small-medium sized sweet onion(diced)
4-6 leaves basil
2-3 teaspoons oregano
salt and pepper to tase
olive oil

add olive oil to hot pan, cook down onion to desired doneness, I caramelize mine because it's good, add garlic, and then the two cans on tomatoes, de-seeded. Chop basil finely before adding that, oregano, and salt and pepper, cook down
I use a blender mid way through to make the sauce a nice smooth constancy, before adding it back to the pan to finish cooking

Add al dente pasta to sauce, one cup of reserved pasta water, plate and grate Parmesan cheese on that shit

I use a can san marzanos, but I dont cheat and cut it when whatever cento or sauce because I'm a cheap fuck and wait to stretch it a bit.

I dont put sugar because I dont care for the sweetness, but last night was pasta night and I did saute the onions in a bit of red wine as a base, and when it was cooking i de-seeded a minced a hot pepper.

Shit was great with my homemade meatballs.
