Something smaller would be preferable too. I know they’re making the 9barista which is mokapot that can generate enough pressure for espresso but it’s also listing at 400-500 bucks. I don’t wanna pay so much money for fucking coffee , but regular coffee is too boring compared to espresso

What’s the appeal of espresso?
I’m not talking a latte or an americano I mean straight espresso. It’s so much more bitter than coffee I feel like people just pretend to like it.
I became a barista last September and bought myself an espresso machine to practice at home with, and my customers all say I pull a good shot, but it always tastes like ass to me.
