Fuck breadcrumbs and croutons. They serve no purpose. They're supposed to add texture, but they just get soggy from the cheese. The ace topping for mac-n-cheese is stewed tomatoes with oregano.

Nah, fuck that. It doesn't add to the color or presentation. Stewed tomatoes is what you need for good mac-n-cheese. The tartness and acidity of the tomatoes cuts the creaminess and fattiness of the cheese.
