Meat industry is attacking alternative meats the same way big tobacco industry attacked vapes that were cutting into their profits, they hire professional PR firms that specialize in swaying public opinion they pay news outlets to propagate false info.

Also as a vegetarian who has always been very accepting and tolerant of everyone lately the amount of mental gymnastics meat eaters are doing to justify their consumption and put down vegan/vegetarian alternatives just because they see it as a threat to their way of life is really making me grind my teeth.
