anyone got teriyaki tips? chicken teriyaki is one of my favorite foods and I want to master it, it's easy to make good but panda express is still probably better than mine. is velveting a must? overnight marinade in the sauce or shorter marinade with acid/baking soda? med vs higher heat? not sure what to try

Are you implying bitter foods are categorically bad tasting and are merely a "tough guy" act?
Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong about liking sweet stuff, but trying to pull some sort of big boy act for never having expanded your palate nor attitude past your 11 year old self is kinda pathetic.
