Every few years I get the urge to try sashimi. I get it and it's fucking disgusting, the pieces are always way too big because asians are obsessed with eating massive mouthfuls of food for some reason. The texture sucks, it never tastes good no matter what kind I try, tuna, salmon, it never matters it all tastes the same (it's disgusting). By the last few pieces I'm usually retching as I choke them down.
Why do people eat this garbage?

Will leftover Sashimi stay in the fridge for a day? Or is it better just to cook sashimi you can't eat?
