You just know something is wrong in the world when you have to resort to Tito’s – America’s Grey Goose. It was on sale, and had a $2 off coupon attached (which I admittedly didn’t even see until the checkout person scanned it), so obviously it’s the best choice compared to the $18-$19 handle shelf when all the Seagram’s has gone away. It still feels like throwing money away buying a handle of vodka in the $20 price range, but when you’re out of options outside of driving to a second store for a single item you just have to take the hit and accept it. Meanwhile, I’ll gladly buy virtually any bottle of Lost Abbey, even though I mostly stick to hard liquor these days.
