I'd made distillers beer before in the past to make hooch. Got older and more into beer than distilled spirits and decided to do some research on brewing. I bought a lot of books and read everything from histories of brewing to modern methods and practices and lots of info on different styles and how they evolved. When I felt confident enough to take the plunge I bought gear and grass to boil and have loved brewing ever since.

I will say this. I know others that have fucked up before and it usually has to do with shoddy sanitizing. I had prior experience in getting things as disinfected as a laboratory so I did not have this issue early on. If any of you try please pay attention to your cleanliness and you will have tasty brew at the end of your journey.
