Check out farmer's markets. The season varies with a sliding window starting maybe late Septemer and going from there for a month or two, until it starts getting cold. It's difficult to say when farmers markets will have these and other hot peppers, it really depends upon the season. It might even start in late October and then run until the stock is out.

Try them out. If you chop the fresh ones at scorpion or reaper level then make sure that your hands are used to it and also wash them tons of times.

I usually go for the lower level ones such as in this picture just for flavor, the heat is there as well, there's a balance.

Some do, normal habs do, but chocolate habs seem to transcend the cooking process, they keep their flavor and heat.

Chicken Noodle Soup
New England Clam Chowdah
Beef
Pr0k
Chicken
You name it chile's are good in it, get your hands on some chocolate habaneros, it's almost time for them. It's a sliding window in the NE starting from between late September to mid October and lasting about 3 weeks, the duration varies too.

Good times.

Have a picture of the chocolate habaneros, see these aren't like the killer ones that are in the Guiness book of world records though they may have been a long time ago.

They have flavor and heat and it lasts through cooking unlike a lot of others and don't taste like chemicals like a lot of say the current top three.

That might not make sense to you but it will if you start experimenting with them. Just remember not to finger your girlfriend after chopping some up, you'll get hell as I've done, it's par the course. It's gonna happen, might as well get smacked and learn from it.

You're a faggot for buying into indian ghost pepper bullshit.

They haven't been the hottest if you're into that instead of flavor for about 4 years now.

You've been watching too much shit on travel channel and food tv.

They never were flavorful, kind of like indian programmers, they suck.

DERP DERP I'M FROM INDIA DERP DERP WE EAT "SPICY" FOOD" DERP DERP.

>derp doesn't realize that they're native to the Americas and indians when they could get them used them to mask rot in their own food between when they could wash them from the garbage ganges.

GTFO twats!

I'm an American, I don't have to suck up to indians or pakis as the brits do.
