I hate broccoli with a passion but my dad would tell me his mom would cut the stem into quarters salt them and then give it to him as a snack and he loved it.

What good meat substitutions? No, this isn't some "I'm going vegan/vegetarian" shit. More of a thread for when you want meat but it's expensive. Was thinking mushrooms for beef, but that seems like it would get boring quickly. Maybe you vegan fags have some knowledge.

Learn to use a variety and spices and blends, depending on the ramen, I'll make a "sauce water" rather than just regular water for the ramen. For example, spicy sriracha ramen I'll do 1/5 orange juice, 1/4 part water, 1/5 part hot sauce, 1/4 part honey, and a pinch of some curry powder and some pepper, and some paprika in there too if that's your thing. Then I used some of that liquid too as a basting sauce to cook my sausage and a bit of oil to get the flavor real nice and flavorful with a bit of crisp on the sausage. Once the Sausage is done, add about a 1/4-1/3rd of the basting sauce to the ramen and mix in, throw in some chives or sprinkle of cayenne on top and you got a really good ramen meal. It's all about creativity man, don't be afraid to experiment and learn new combos that you never thought would be flavorful together. Forget traditional cooking and do it how you want.

The hormone thing was a little overdone, but meat is still a carcinogen and can cause cancer and heart disease, even in those healthy males that also are omnivores
But that aside as well, it's also many different factors with the meat, the environment it was raised in, the actually cleanliness of the meat itself (for example, ground beef being the most disgusting commonly bought meat, heavily concentrated usually in E. coli and grounds for other disease) obviously if you cook properly you're gonna be okay 99%+ of the time.
And even with all the medical science, I'd rather choose to live a omnivore diet. I tried vegan for a couple weeks, tried all different recipes and combinations of vegetables and legumes and grains, etc. made sure I was getting enough b12, magnesium and all of that, but still felt really exhausted a couple weeks later. I also found that most faux meat products can't properly replicate true flavor profile

I couldn't wait to try a Timmies when I was in Alberta. What a terrible restaurant. How can you sell doughnuts if you don't have a deep fryer in the building.

Except that soy contains phytoestrogens, which is esstenially "plant estrogen" so it's discarded and not metalbolized into actual estrogen in the body. Milk, however, contains mamillian estrogen, which is converted, so milk can give you gyno.

>making it harder for sauce to stick to pasta.

I have literally never heard of anyone saying the sauce doesn't stick to their pasta.
