I really like 'vark, but not living in pdx it's just too expensive for a mild table sauce. ,My mainstay for the past couple years has been Gringo Bandito, which costs about as much as Cholula but is miles better.

I made this /ck/ starter pack image a few years ago. It's a little outdated, and I couldn't find my deenz so there's canned eel instead, but it still might prove helpful.

The brand in pic related is the OG (it's next to the Secret Aardvark). There's a ton more ingredients than the OP, but the difference is mind blowing.
