most places sell a pint of local for 9-11 dollars each, a jug is usually 20
never go anywhere trendy, they jack up the prices further and you'd get that kind of stuff in the states

nothing beats going into a regular pub, and some of em have good specials going on for cheaper drinks
some pubs are just sad dens for tradies who get paid too much to sit around or get into fights, so you gotta do some searching, but you're bound to find a good one within a few tries where you the people are more lively and chatty
avoid abos and islanders, they may be friendly at first but they WILL take a bad turn after a few drinks
