I recently attempted the copycat chick fil a sandwich.
To fully grasp how hard of a fail it was, I have to preface it with two things.

A) I never fry food.

B) I decided I wanted to put my fried chicken on a biscuit like the chick fil a breakfast.

Expensive ass peanut oil. Expensive pickles. Smoked sweet paprika. Organic chicken breasts.

The bisuits call for 3 cups of flour. I grab my 1/2 cup measuring spoon and get to work. Baking soda, baking powder, salt, sugar, buttermilk, butter. Thing is, the meal is extremely runny. The recipe noted that when I added the butter to the dry ingredients, that it should be a coarse meal. It wasn't. When I added the milk. the milk was excessive. That's when I realized that I had only done 3 1/2 cups like a fucking moron. I was also out of flour. I pour out the milk, and throw what I have in the oven. I was expecting cookies at this point due to the flour fuck up.

Next on to the chicken. I had marinated in the fridge for 4 hours in the pickle juice. I dipped and dredged it and threw it in the pan. Since it has been so long since I fried anything, I forgot to 1) cut the chicken breasts in half because they were so thick and 2) tenderize them to get them into a perfect cutlet. I fry away and notice it start to burn. I lower the heat and turn them over. Crispy is good anyways for this sandwich. After about 12 minutes of cooking, my gf cuts them open. Fucking RAW. Instead of throwing them in the over at that point she throws them back into the oil...raw side down. Pic related, mfw at that moment. She says, anon it will cook the raw out! To take my mind off of this, I return my attention to the biscuits. After 15 minutes there is a large pool of lightly toasted flour in my cookie sheet. No biscuits. GF takes chicken out of fry pan. All of the breading falls off.

I throw EVERYTHING the fuck out. I have never fucked up a recipe that badly in all respects.

All I want is an Irish breakfast blend but all you guys got are tea bags.
You fuckers will have tea bags for every possible combination of fruit flavored "tea" but God forbid someone wants to taste their tea.
