Someplace in Ladysmith BC, I was like 11 traveling with my parents and there was nothing open in town save for this place. Went in it was so dark, cigarette stained walls, brown shag carpet, and the yellowed billboard menu. All the people who were there looked like they didn't want to be, but had nowhere else to go. Specifically asked what I wanted on my burger (still pretty young and just liking simple stuff it was mustard, onions and pickles). It took like 40 minutes for them to prepare it, came out and when we got it it had ALL the toppings on it. The fries were like literal shoestring, just floppy and hard. It all tasted like shit, even my dad grimaced and threw out the stuff, but for some reason, some people took offense to that and started to verbally insult us, we left quick and several of those same people followed us in their cars up to the point of us leaving town. Never go to Ladysmith
