one thing that pisses me off more than anything with this guy is how he seemingly goes out of his way to make sure all his ingredients are store brought. A "chef" could manage diced fucking tomatoes, I'm sure.

Me either. I've never had trouble with eggs. Well, fresh eggs from my chickens are a real bitch to peel after being hard boiled. The inner membrane between the shell and egg wants to pull away pieces of the egg every time. Store bought eggs that are much older than fresh eggs are easy to peel when hard boiled at least.
