My personal preferences, as a cashier:
Don't say anything to me unless you have a question or a concern. I know you don't care how my day is going and I don't blame you for it, so just save us both the time and don't obligate me to respond to a greeting.
If you have a handbasket and there is someone in front of you, go ahead and unload it onto the belt. If there is no one in front of you, just set it on the belt since I'll probably be able to get through everything faster by unloading it myself anyway.
If you have a membership card in your pocket or on your phone or whatever, have it ready by the time you reach the register.
Don't buy a fucking $1 candy bar and hand me a $100 bill. This isn't a bank, and you're just draining the register of medium bills so that I have to go get change from the office even sooner.
If you decide not to buy something that's in your cart before you reach the register, and it's not refrigerated/frozen, just put it on the nearest shelf and let the stocking department relocate it instead of giving it to me so that I have to leave my register unattended to go return it. If it IS refrigerated/frozen, find an employee and give it to them. Or just return it your damn self because you already know exactly where you got it and the store isn't that damn big in the first place.
I don't care if you only had a few items in your cart and they fit into a single bag, take your empty cart back outside with you when you leave.
USE THE DIVIDERS
Pull your mask up over your nose. If you want to be a rebel then fine, don't wear one at all, but wearing a mask like a fucking chinstrap just makes you look like a jackass.

Also, you should keep an eye on the register display because I have no passion for my job and am generally sleep-deprived, so I'm operating at like 30% capacity at all times and it's possible I'll make a mistake without realizing it. Fixing it before the receipt prints is much easier.

I actually would like to try this. My girlfriend went vegan lately so I figured these might be good. Finally found a restaurant that has them
>Served with cheese
>cooked with oil and butter
>served on Brioche
>she won't eat it
Dating a vegan is suffering.

Ice cream does have a legal definition and all ice cream has air whipped into it the process is called overrunning and it isn't ever more than 50% (so ice cream from the store isn't ever more than half air)
Gelato being a foriegn dish doesn't have a legal definition so it can be more than that and fillers/emusifiers (legally I think ice cream is never more than 2% of either) as well same goes for things like Halotop and Arctic Zero since they are 'frozen dessert' not ice cream they can be made with whatever
