i’m sad i waited too long to soften the butter at room temp. i’ve been planning to make cookies from scratch for the first time, snickerdoodles. i wanted to give them fresh cookies but my family said they are visiting sooner than i’d hope to go to someone else’s place later. :( at least i got them mugs and candy canes/hot chocolate/ferrero rocher, i spent a good portion of my bday money on them.

i haven’t even had my coffee/food yet. we’re not really religious but when i was younger we had gifts and this year is just different and a little depressing. merry chrismus /ck/
