I need to cook something for mother tomorrow, something that will wow her, i consider myself a good cook and my mother likes everything, so any suggestion is welcome, I've spent the past hour thinking what to make for her and I'm drawing blank

How do I learn to cook properly? With the techniques and shit. I don't really have anything specific I want to cook but enjoy doing it and want to do more of it. Just cooking more isn't much of an answer if I don't know what's right or wrong or what I should/could be including to make it different.
