> that's not really valid. taco bell doesn't taste much different from any other ground meat with a generic spice blend in a hard corn shell, and hard-shell ground meat tacos aren't actually worse than roast meat steamed corn tortilla tacos, just different

no, sorry. What you just said is not really valid.

Taco bell uses a proprietary pre-mixed and pre-frozen slop of industrial-grade beef. It's not Prime, It's not Choice, it's not even Select - it's "regular", just a step above Canner meat. It's literally taken from the same pile as premium dogfood.

Real tacos are just made from milanesa de res (USDA select sirloin @$2.99/lb) or just chuck... also about $2.99/lb. If you actually get a real "carne asada" taco, it's actually made from res de ranchera, or skirt steak - @ 5.99/lb.

Taco bell's "meat" costs them 14 cents a lb, and it's not worth that. Besides, only 36% of their actual meat mix is MEAT... the rest are useless fibers, etc..

there is no comparison. its like comparing a mcdonalds burger patty with a hole in the wall burger place that has actual beef ground.
