alright you fucking mongs lets have a discussion about instant ramen

so obviously shin is the undisputed GOAT but shin black is fucking $2 per packet minimum in the states and shin red is around $1 per, which is a bit pricey for the impoverished anons who would ever stoop to eating instant ramen in the first place

what are the best mid-tier ramens you’ve tried? i recently had pic related and honestly it was a real let-down. the broth was a solid notch below maruchan or nissin, and even adding an egg and letting the yolk dissolve in the broth didn’t help (usually takes most ramens from mid- to top-tier instantly). however i like that the noodles come very densely packed together, it doesn’t break apart in the packaging and turn into noodle confetti when you open it unlike maruchan or nissin which was nice.

what should i be on the lookout for next time i’m at the grocery store/asian market?
