Its actually not that sugary, there is a lot of bitterness to it from the savoury body of the stout, the sweetness is only a slight aftertaste. Idiots see bright colors on the packaging and go spastic thinking it's corn syrup or some shit, when it reality it's a popular and well brewed imperial stout.

Imperial porters and stouts are usually 10% and over and taste silky smooth. The sweet notes added in the brewing process aren't overpowering, you still get the nice savoury bitter taste of the beer
