A simple recipe to warm the soul during the winter time.

Piping Hot Cocoa:

3/4 cup plain nondairy milk
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa or carob powder
2 tablespoons raw sugar/turbiando/stevia (for stevia use the equivalent of 2tbsp, it's very concentrated!)
1/8th tsp vanilla extract
dash of cinnamon
dash of cayenne pepper or chili powder (optional for some heat)

Heat liquids together in a saucepan on gentle heat, add your powdered ingredients and whisk until smooth. Best served hot.
