my dad puts ketchup on everything, but I put hot sauce on nearly everything, so to each his own. I can't stand it, ketchup is just sugary vinegar paste.

one thing that totally grinds me up is people who never cook with any seasonings. my mom literally never cooks with spices unless it's called out in a recipe, in which case she puts in half of what is called for, and it's usually some old ass expired bullshit that's been in the cabinet for 11 years past the expiration date.

people who drink tons of soda or put a fuckload of sugar in their coffee also make me lose my mind. coffee should be good enough to drink black or you are just masking the flavor of shit beans. a teaspoon of sugar is the maximum allowable.
