Yes and it is also the base for many barista drinks with milk. In a way you're not making the real version if you're not using real espresso.

Yeah maybe it's just a mood of mine that I don't like the taste, though I still can't find explanation why my coffee tastes weird with milk. Maybe the arabica is too fruity, but if arabica is fruity in general and robusta is shit tier what do barista use for drinks they make?
