>take that food and add gold leaf, black truffles, squid ink, caviar, foie gras, expensive cheese, and whatever other "Super expensive fancy ingredients" everyone and their grandmother knows about and could name
>sell it for $800 and call it "the world's most expensive [name of dish]" and watch as people make news articles and videos on your super unique and totally not overpriced and definitelt not terrible tasting dish because you're literally just throwing expensive shit together for the sake of it
I genuinely hate this trend and I want it to die.
