Mike "Makes the CCP Suck his Wee Wee" Chen is the child of Chinese Expats who fled mainland China for America to escape religious persecution. Falun Gong is a pseudo-taoist new age religion sect that is basically the chinese equivalent of hippy chicks practicing Wicca, but it got really big and popular in China in the 80's and 90's. So popular in fact that when they tried to flex their muscle in the political realm, the CCP saw them as a threat and cracked down. What was once held up as good chinese cultural value by the CCP became enemy of the party, and was suppressed. So many gave up their practices, went underground, or fled.

Due to this history and Chen's association with Falun Gong, and his prior vocal critique of the CCP, he is considered no touchy for people who have to do business with the Chinese Govt. Uncle Roger aka Uncle Tom Blackface tours in Asia a lot, and has family still living in China and Indonesia. When he found out after the fact Chen was radioactive, he freaked out, pulled the co-op video they did together (it was about fried rice surprise), and posted a public apology. It all happened before anyone reacted, officially or unofficially, and the Chinese just kind of rolled their eyes because literally nobody cared. Chen for his part forgave Roger and called out the CCP as 'not true Chinese'.
