Can anyone recommend a Canadian whisky that is actually good? I've tried Crown Royal, Kirkland (Costco brand) Canadian blended whisky which just tasted exactly like Crown, and an old bottle of MacNAUGHTON from my Grandparents cupboard that I found after they passed away. Honestly the Crown, and Kirkland tasted like shit to me; the best way to describe them was like flat cream soda with a hint of wet dog. The MacNAUGHTON actually tasted pretty good, more like a Scotch with a stronger rye spiciness, but the bottle was definitely old, like late 80's to early 90's. Pic related is the exact bottle if anyone can date it.
