I get mackerel pretty cheap from an Asian market, dragon star in saint Paul. When I get one and take the guts out, my Kitty goes wild, loves the liver or spleen or whatever it is that's in a mackerel, eats it raw, turns her nose at the cooked flesh though. Also, whenever we make tuna noodle casserole, she knows she's getting a little bit of canned tuna, and when I make a turkey sandwich, she begs for little bits of "turk turk".
