I started cutting down on beer 12 months ago, and since all the local supermarkets started selling 1.25L soda water(club soda?) for 50c I've switched to that, I'd say I drink 2-3L of it a day. It somewhat replaces the sweet throat burn I associate with beer if I pretend, but not quite. People look at you like you're demented when you drink half a bottle of it in one go, but damn do I love that slightly salty taste.
