I hate to be the hippie guy, but a lot of it, and i mean a LOT of it, stems from the Great Lep forward bullshit. Millions died, millions starved for years. Hunger was everyday life. So when things got better, even slightly, or when opportunity arose to eat...anything, they probably did. It's still pervasive in Chinese culture, people greet eachother by saying "Have you eaten" in Chinese.

The worst part about Wingstop is that they charge for dipping sauces. Fucking cunts. Same reason I'm not a great fan of Rasing Cane's.

For me though, It's A&W, KFC, or Winchell's. A&W has bland food that others have done better long ago. KFC quality in the USA had dropped precipitously while price has skyrocketed, and Popeyes and Chick-Fil-A have killed their market both in chicken and chicken sammiches. Winchell's is a fast food joint, but if I want a donut I'll go to Krispy Kreme, and if I want coffee I'll go anywhere else. The shops they have are always located in shitty neighborhoods and tweakers, homeless, and other societal losers tend to hang there.
