Made pic related (not my image, but what i made looked pretty much the same)

first time fucking around with panko breadcrumbs, they're expensive but dope as fuck.

trimmed down the bone from bone-in pork cutlets to save for a stock later

there are varieties that could be considered kinda spicy but it's mostly not that spicy, it does contain some flavor you'd associate with an indian curry but it's mostly just a spicy stew, that is very thick. and it's very easy to make because 99% of people make it with premade cubes + the veges and meat needed

What are some good /fit/ foods to make for a busy college student looking to build muscle on healthy foods? I would like lots of protein and some caution on fats. I really like Asian foods. I've spent some time in Japan and really like their food. It's usually quite healthy except pic related probably lol. I'm concerned about spending too much. I like my food well seasoned and spiced so if any recommendations, please let me know :-)

>all rather recent in the countries’ cuisines
>all their curry mixes uses premade powder of some sort

>japanese curry mix being mostly just standard curry powder in a roux stew
>filipino curry mix being mostly just standard curry powder with turmeric/anotto, bay leaves and fish sauce in coconut milk
>vietnamese curry mix being literally just madras curry powder with just the addition of bay leaves, star anise, and anotto rebranded as “Vietnamese Curry Powder”

They are probably tasty but they aren’t really innovative like those from Thailand, India and Indonesia

Saag aloo. Then have with schnitzel on the side and serve with rice so it's like a katsu curry but with real curry.

I never had an answer to the favorite food question until I lived in japan for half a year.
Curry rice, especially with the tonkatsu, is fucking delicious. I seriously ate it every single day - with a few exceptions - and never got tired of it.
I normally hate pork of all kinds, too.
Not there anymore, but I have a tall bottle of asahi in the fridge that I am excited to chug.
