>go to tim hortons
>It's fine, I guess
>just a bullshit place to grab some coffee and donuts
>don't know why anyone would ever eat food from there unless it was 2AM and McDonalds was too far away.
>mostly a bunch of little old ladies hanging around, maybe a couple of university kids
I don't know what all these horror stories are about homeless people shitting in your coffee and pajeet not being able to understand English. it sounds like my fellow canadian friends live in some ghetto ass towns like toronto or something and that's the problem, like if you went to McDonalds instead you'd still accidentally step on some used needles

and no customers aren't allowed to just walk into a kitchen and make whatever they want for a whole bunch of different reasons

>emu/ostriches
We've had emu farms up in Canada for decades if not generations, and I know they have them in the states as well. It's not as taboo or unconventional as cats or dogs.

>pigeon
That's an extremely common protein in European cooking, no?

But anywhore I guess I had cricket powder and it was just like a regular protein powder it's not like there was legs and antenna sticking out.

Oh, but I live in the French speaking province and here we eat horse which is probably just as taboo as eating the family dog in the rest of the country and most of Europe.

Canada here (Quebec) and it's not exactly seen as poor people's food. It's mostly seen as like the "oh we're in a new part of the city we've never been in before or in a new town driving down the highway it's lunchtime and we don't know what's good around here oh look there's a McDonalds" option. basically what >>13465091 said

It's mostly for kids/soccer moms, you've got high school stoners and also like 86 year olds that hang out there but it's really not a poor people thing considering how it's an extremely poor value for your money. Unless you get those coupons in the mail a few times a year or you're gonna jew up their dollar menu options, just getting a regular trio like a big mac or whatever it's really not that great. You get a weak-ass burger a tiny thing of fries and then just a giant ass thing of soda to give you the illusion that you've filled up and ate enough. In terms of portions and quality you're better of anywhere else.

Also as good as their fries are, and they are good they are the only thing I really care for in their main menu, they are the worst kind of friend possible for poutine and McDonalds cannot make a poutine to save their lives

Oh yeah that too, we have a few McDs around here and they're quite old they've been around for generations and it's intresting how a couple of decades ago the interiors and even outsides all looked like basically playgrounds with more play areas and then Ronald and Hamburgler statues all over the place and since then a lot of them tried to rebrand as Le McCafe trying to compete with starbucks or something where university kids can hang out while studying but no one's getting studying done with kids running around and screaming and a random black guy practising his beatboxing skills while waiting in line and all the other nonsense that happens inside a McDs

Nothing beats a real poutine Québécoise. The anglo cucks only get the imitation stuff.
