Why are these little tree shits so good when eaten steamed as a side or as an ingredient as it is, but disgusting if prepared in other ways?

I'm a generational rich fag who travels a lot and have had all sorts of disgusting foods.

But boiled broccoli is the only thing to make me gag, I've have fermented shark, durian, vending machine fermented rice, a whole cooked guinea pig that wasn't gutted and was bitter as fuck. But boiled broccoli, makes me gag.

What foods can't you stand?

How can an adult with the palette of a 4 year old start introducing vegetables into his diet?

Best way to make vegetables not gross?

Should I only buy fresh?

I like broccoli but I've never tried to cook it before.
I like it crunchy on the inside, and not too soft on the outside, so I'm thinking of just putting it in a pan with enough water to cover the bottom and covering it with a lid.

How long would this take? 6-7 minutes?
