Guinness is actually a good beer.

>but muh ABV
>but muh imperial stouts
Not every dark beer has to be a fucking 8% ABV full bodied stout. Sometimes you just want something light, refreshing and easy to drink while still having the dark beer flavor. Only two kinds of people don't like Guinness: people with palates of children who can't handle the slightly higher bitterness, and hipsters who think that for beer to be good it has to have the strongest possible flavor with as much hops as possible.

Degenerate here. I want to issue a warning.
I tried this mix. It's called 'Irish Castaway'.
It consists of:

1 Guinness (I used the Draught version btw)
1 shot of Malibu

It's shit. Don't try it.

I can drink it so easily. It's probably the only beer that I drink in gulps instead of sips.

Beer thread:

What's the difference (in taste) between canned and bottled beer?

I've been drinking a lot of Guinness lately and I'm not sure which I like more, but the cans seem cheaper so I think I'm gonna roll with that.

But is there an actual taste difference? I don't believe the metallic bullshit, but I've sometimes heard that it comes down to: Bottles allow light to hit the beer but are more aesthetic so psychologically more enjoyable to drink... Though the light doesn't impact dark beers as much as it does light beers.

Anyone know?

Is it true that Guinness is much better in Ireland?
