anyone have any recipes for savory jerky type snacks i can make but with vegetables in my dehydrator?

that's a common chinese excalibur copy that's sold relatively cheaply under a million different brand names

i have one and love it but keep in mind that it is ENORMOUS - like the size of a small oven or huge industrial microwave. it doesn't waste space, but it easily holds 10lbs+ worth of thin sliced beef for jerky
so if it's something your mom just wants as a whim, she might be happier with a smaller plastic one

that being said if she's pretty serious about dehydrating and has room to store it or install it, it's definitely a good choice. the timer works great, the thermostat is accurate and aside from one strange design choice (these flimsy clips they use to hold the heater unit to the body) it's well made and lightweight

the weeb flavor needs a bit more ginger but other than that...
