My mother, God bless her, is pretty much the white person blacks think about when they make jokes about not seasoning chicken.
Pepper was added by me post mortem.

If it weren't for the tablecloth that could easily be a photo from my childhood home.
I had no idea food could be good before I moved out. I love my parents but their cooking is entirely about sustenance.

here's a photo from not long ago when I was visiting for holidays. The pepper was added by myself since my mother doesn't eat black pepper.

Grew up with lots of very nice cuts of pork and beef being boiled or oven roasted until they were like shoe leather and seasoned only with salt. I shouldn't complain, I guess. We never went hungry, but food was very much a fuel rather than a feast in our home.

I'm Danish and this could easily have been a photo from my childhood. It's disturbing how familiar it all looks.
Not bad food really, I shouldn't complain. Just not very interesting food. It was only after I moved out on my own that I fully realised that food can be fun both to make and to eat instead of simply being fuel.

>the boomers were too lazy to learn and teach us
How about taking control of your own life and using the biggest and most easily accessible source of information in human history to learn for yourself, you stupid fuck?
I grew up eating pic related and I still managed to learn on my own after I moved out of the house. Fucking crybaby.

what kind of animal doesn't boil their chicken? it's the healthiest way to prepare it. only mudbloods have to fry everything and smother their food in putrid seasonings. all of our food is fresh from the supermarket. there is no need to hide the taste of rotten meat anymore, tyrone. a pinch of salt and pepper is all that is needed to accentuate the natural flavour of the meat.

That doesn't look so bad. Could have done a bit more with the brocc, but I'd eat that without crying.

Food only needs the tiniest pinch of salt and pepper if that. You don't want to cover up the natural flavor of your meal.

I listen to Opie and Anthony clips on Youtube.
Or AmRen when there's a new one.
Pic related; the magic.

This is what my father cooked today.
Say something nice about it.
