>Indians climb positions in American tech companies because they accept lower pay than their American peers.
HAHAHAHAHA oh my fucking god this is how i know you're a useless /pol/ monkey who doesn't understand how the world works. Bangladeshi SDE's are given 250K starting (not including RSU's) at companies. This isn't because they are undercutting native engineering wages, its because they bridge the skills gap and offer much more to these companies.
The myth that Indians undercut the native work force is a complete hoax started by white americans who can't seem to grasp the fact that there is a huge skills gap that American engineers don't have the skills to make up for. American companies don't offer positions to Indians to save money. If they actually wanted to do that, they'd ship the job overseas you fucking moron.
Pic related is what Indian engineers usually earn after a couple years in the company. Is this "accepting lower pay than their American peers" to you?
Use your fucking brain, no one would pay to have Indians/South Asians come all the way to America just to pay them THIS much if they could just outsource the work and have it sent back for code review for far cheaper.
