I had been a vegetarian for 14 years. I've been vegan for the last year.

I mainly believe in sustainability and it is NOT sustainable to eat meat 3 times a day, 7 days a week. However, it is also not sustainable to drink a 10 banana smoothie with dates everyday because of the pollution involved in transportating foreign fruits/veg.

It is easy to be on your high horse as a vegan but I die a little inside everytime I take a sticker off a fruit that says "Made in Brazil".

I do not have a problem with things like cheese and eggs because they can be sourced in a sustainable manner. I still choose not to eat them due to personal health preferences, but I wish factory farming would come to an end.

I'd love to see vertical aerponic farming warehouses starting to be implememtedd in the
CBD's of major cities. Aerponic farming methods use less water and central location's will reduce the need for long distance shipping.

Lab grown meats will also change the game.
