Hey guys, i recently bought a packet of frozen vegetables to use when i'm pressed for time and need a quick meal.

One problem though : no matter how i cook the vegetables, the carrots taste EXTREMLY bitter.

What gives?

Microwave and boiling...same problem. All the other vegetables taste fine, the carrots taste bitter and metallic.

To start off with, what are some cheap, easy to prepare vegetables? And how do you prepare them?

Microwaving carrots/frozen vegetables is getting really stale...
