Supposedly last year there was an uptick in Tequila Barrel aged beers but the only one I had seen was from a local brewery. (Half Moon Bay Brewery made a Tequila barrel aged Belgian Tripel that was fantastic.)

Then Deschutes ages their Abyss in different barrels for different years, these are this years variants while last Years were scotch and brandy barrel aged and the year before that were Rye Whiskey and Cognac barrel aged.
