My sister in law has one of these and also just generally refuses to refrigerate anything promptly because of some hocus pocus about they didn't do that in le good old days. Stuff stays out for hours, even days sometimes, "oh that? that's fine, it will be fine".

Perhaps coincidentally, one or more people in the family gets mild food poisoning several times a year.
