Diabetes is not caused by sugar, it is caused by junk food (sausage, bacon, McDonalds and whatever goes into THAT kind of food).

Sugar alone has no nutrition but it is NOT bad. White / cane sugar (sucrose), fructose are harmless. Lactose (milk) is harmless too, people aren't intolerant you just can't drink it cold (heat it up and you can drink a lot). Starch is the most harmful 'okay' sugar but not bad.

Brown sugar, wheat and all the 'hard to digest' sugars/carbs are bad. They sit in your stomach and bacteria feeds off of it.

The priority with food is this:
#1) It must not be bad for me (poisonoius)
#2) It must be nutritional

That's it. 'Junk food' is food that doesn't fulfill #1. PURE WHITE SUGAR is not bad, but it has no nutrition. PURE BROWN SUGAR is bad, it comes from wheat and it has no nutrition, it also slows the metabolism. White rice > brown rice. You don't want food that slows metabolism or worsens stomach bacteria, that is the easiest way to get disease.

Milk is good because it fulfills #1 and it has almost all nutrients, but it is bad to drink full fat milk since fat is unecessary.

Fat is bad in large quantities. Polyunsaturated fat should be avoided (nuts, seeds, most oils except coconut oil which also speed metabolism)

Protein is essential but beef is better than chicken/turkey because cows are ruminant animals. This means any bad food that cows are fed will not effect you, but if you eat a chicken fed a poor diet you will basically eat its diet yourself.

If you eat meat and it has iron, iron is bad for you so eat it with caffeine so it is inhibited.

Too many vegetables and grains are bad for you because they inhibit calcium absorption.

Cigarettes (nicotine) are okay once in a while. Good for you for similar reason to caffeine.

I don't understand it, sugar is carbs and that's the most important macronurient. Fruit, milk, potatoes, the most nutritious foods are pure sugar. Vegetables, nuts and all that stuff is either too low calorie, bad for metabolism, not nutritious or causes all sorts of diseases and rapid aging. People still argue diabetes is caused by sugar, when really it's caused by polyunsaturated fat. Yet the BEST foods with the least problems and highest nutrition like milk, eggs, cheese, fruits etc... all of them are near-perfect foods, yet today they're thought of as the devil by the healthy people. I don't understand why people are so indoctrinated to think things like "sugar is as addictive as meth", really now? When your only other option is fat or protein, sugar is the most nutritious and sustainable, and least damaging... This is just a diet fad. Eating grass like kale and broccoli is okay once in a while but there are TONS of people today that think they should be eating these condiments as a staple food every day and "fasting" - as if "fasting" is not just starving yourself for a religious reason. I'll take my milkshakes and orange juice over any trendy diet. That's how I was raised, and that's why I am so much healthier than most people, I was raised on the country side with a traditional balanced diet not this "weight loss" hysteria & "sugar is evil" propoganda.

list some ideas that retards have about diet and nutrition that are clearly wrong. i will start:

>fish oil is good for you
>polyunsaturated fats (including omega-3s) are healthier for you than saturated fats
>sugary foods (such as orange juice) are bad for you/make you fat
>'complex carbs' (ie starch, pure glucose) is a superior source of energy than sugar (glucose + fructose)
>fructose is toxic to the liver
>beans and legumes are as good of a source of protein as meat and should be eaten often
>white meat is better for you than red meat
>beef is inherently bad for you
>it's perfectly OK to eat undercooked/raw above-ground cruciferous vegetables
>there is nothing wrong with eating soy
>grains are a healthier source of carbs than others
>avocado is a healthy fruit and should be eaten a lot
>margarine is healthier/less toxic than butter
>chocolate is a junk food
>caffeine is bad for you
>salt/sodium is bad for you
>cholesterol is bad for you and will clog your arteries
>you can avoid eating animal products and still have a healthy, well-balanced diet
>canola oil is a good fat to cook with
>dairy is inherently bad for you

if you believe any of these lies you're a retard and should be banned from giving nutritional advice ever
